Role Description
The Yacht Charter Broker is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role involves advising clients on suitable yachts and itineraries, preparing detailed charter proposals, and managing the end-to-end charter process from initial inquiry through booking and post-charter follow-up. The broker will liaise daily with yacht owners, captains, and partner brokers to confirm availability, negotiate rates and terms, and coordinate logistics such as routes, on-board services, and special client requests. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the global charter fleet, market trends, and key yachting destinations, as well as updating internal databases and client records. The Yacht Charter Broker will also support yacht sales leads, participate in industry events and boat shows, and contribute to a high standard of client service and professional representation of Peritas Yachts.

- Strong client relationship management, consultative selling, and negotiation skills to guide high-net-worth clients through charter and sales decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present proposals clearly and manage complex stakeholder interactions.
- Organizational and coordination abilities, including attention to detail, time management, and handling multiple charters and projects simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and analytical skills to understand market trends, pricing structures, and contractual terms in the yachting sector.
- Proficiency with office software, CRM tools, and online research to manage client data, prepare documentation, and support charter operations.
- Professional experience in yacht brokerage, luxury travel, hospitality, or a related high-end service environment is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of major yachting destinations, charter regulations, and industry standards, with a willingness to stay current on market developments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, international team and demonstrate integrity, discretion, and a client-centered mindset.
