The Role
To provide excellent customer service, support daily store operation, and help create a welcoming shopping experience while promoting Yankee Candle products and achieving targets.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and product recommendations.
- Assist customers in selecting fragrances, gifts, and home products.
- Operate the till and handle card/card transactions accurately.
- Replenish stock and maintain product display.
- Receiving and processing delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store and stockroom.
- Assisting with stock counts.
- Work with the team to achieve sales goals and KPI’s.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns professionally.

Skills And Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Passion for delivering a positive customer experience.

Flexibility Requirements
- Availability to work a flexible 16-hour schedule.
- Able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, bank holidays and additional hours when required to meet the business needs.
