Job Title: Yard Foreman

Location: Liverpool

Company: John Sutch Cranes

Job Type: Full Time (Temporary) with opportunity to progress

About Us

John Sutch Cranes is an established crane hire and lifting specialist operating across the UK from our Manchester and Liverpool depots. With over 36 years in the industry, we’ve built a strong reputation for reliability, safety and doing the job properly.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Yard Foreman to support the day-to-day running of our Liverpool depot yard. It’s a temporary opportunity but for the right person it could lead to a full time role in our business and a route to progress your career in the industry.

This is a hands-on role focused on keeping the yard organised, safe and running efficiently. You’ll be working closely with the depot and operations team to make sure cranes and equipment are ready for jobs and movements run smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
