About The Role
This full-time Yard Forklift Operative position in Paddock Wood offers £13.21 per hour, with temp ongoing or temp to permanent prospects for the right applicant. Duties centre on operating a counterbalance truck to load and unload vehicles, move stock around the yard, and assist with goods in and goods out. General housekeeping and yard upkeep also feature, with work split between indoor and outdoor settings. Candidates need a valid counterbalance licence and proven experience in a heavy industrial yard. Reliability, safe working practices, and the ability to handle physical tasks in all weather conditions are essential. Working hours are full time, Monday to Friday.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative to join our client in Paddock Wood. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative who holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and is comfortable working in a busy, heavy industrial environment.

Yard Operative Duties
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Moving stock and materials around the yard
- Assisting with goods in and goods out operations
- General yard duties and housekeeping
- Working both indoors and outdoors as required
- Supporting warehouse and production teams when needed
Yard Operative Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Previous experience as a Yard Operative, Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, or Warehouse Operative
- Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions when required
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
