We are recruiting a Yard Sales Adviser

We are recruiting a Yard Sales Adviser to join the successful and supportive team at our branch in Bangor.

The Yard Sales Advisor plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and delivering a positive customer experience. As one of the first points of contact for customers, you will help create a welcoming and efficient environment while ensuring the yard remains safe, organised and well stocked.

What will I be doing?

  • Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional way, supporting with product enquiries
  • Safely loading and unloading vehicles, and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
  • Operating forklifts and handling equipment in line with safety procedures
  • Supporting stock management, including replenishment and stock counts
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment
  • Working with the branch team to support sales, service and operational targets
  • Completing health and safety checks and required training
  • Representing the business positively and supporting our values of Decency, Passion and Pride
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the wider team and business

Hours of Work

Full-time: 41.5 hours per week. Flexible working hours/patterns will be considered.

Branch opening hours are:

  • Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00
  • Fri 07.30 - 16.00
  • Sat 08.00 - 12.00

  • Experience in a similar or trade-related environment (helpful but not essential)
  • A forklift licence, or willingness to be trained
  • A strong awareness of health and safety practices
  • Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
  • A team-focused approach and pride in your work
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
