About The Role
A Yard Operative position is available in Cheltenham, paying £13.00 per hour on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
- Picking materials and equipment for maintenance activities
- Cleaning equipment and products to the required company standards
- Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties
- Inspecting items and equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Organising materials and maintaining stock levels within the yard
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials when required
- Operating company vehicles on site and between locations when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment
- Carrying out general yard duties to support the day to day operation

The Ideal Candidate
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable carrying out physical work and manual handling tasks
- Good attention to detail when inspecting and preparing equipment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, or maintenance environment would be advantageous
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
