Role: Yard Operative / Yard Assistant / Warehouse

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000
No Weekend Working and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays!
We are recruiting a Yard Operative / Warehouse Worker for a leading wholesaler of construction products supplies / builders merchants products. This is a successful company and they have an unrivalled range of products within their sector.
They require someone with experience from either within the builders merchants sector or a wholesaler of construction supply products. This must be from a yard or warehouse based role and you must be comfortable using a fork lift truck too.

As a Yard Operative / Assistant, the role will involve being part of a tight knit team within a large branch / distribution environment. Your role will involve an element of manual handling as well as using equipment to load and unload deliveries. This role will be customer facing at times so good communication skills and attention to detail is also required. All health and safety practices on site must be maintained at all times. You should be able to use your own initiative and manage your time efficiently.
This full time and permanent Yard Operative role can provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in the builders merchants whilst also supplying a competitive salary and you get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays which is well above industry standard.
