We're looking for a proactive and reliable Yard Operative to support our busy site operations. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely
- Organising and maintaining the yard and warehouse areas
- Preparing and planning upcoming jobs for the week ahead
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties across the entire site, both internally and externally
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and legislative requirement

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver service as defined in KPIs
- Data entry/management in company systems
- Operation of site plant and equipment including forklift trucks, air tools/pumps
- Inspecting, cleaning, relabelling and maintaining all re-usable containers
- Minimising asset damage through correct use and regular inspections
- Adhering to all procedures and controls within TBRAs
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping at all times
- Participating in reviews of SOP, TBRA, MHRA
- Adhering to working instructions from daily TBT
- Performing value adding processes as directed by the Site Chargehand/Management

Minimum Qualifications
- Current forklift certificate
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)
- Maintains positive work relationships
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
- Reliable and conscientious
- Good communicator
- Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Proactive in seeking and implementing ways to improve operational performance
- Good understanding of health and safety on hazardous waste sites
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies
- Experience in waste and dangerous chemicals handling
