Yard Operator/FLT Driver
Location: Elton
Pay Rate: £13.45-£25.83 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date: Friday 11th September
Duration: Temporary assignment for approximately 2-3 months
FLT Driver/Yard Operator Required - Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for a FLT Driver/Yard Operator to join a busy recycling facility based in Elton. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role and would suit candidates who are comfortable carrying out manual work in an outdoor yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating Forklift Truck
- Operating the baler machine safely and efficiently
- Sorting, handling and processing recyclable materials
- Clearing waste and recycling from the yard area
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general recycling yard duties as required

Candidate Requirements
- Valid in-date FLT license
- Previous experience in a waste, recycling, production or yard environment is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable undertaking manual labour and working outdoors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Health and safety conscious
