Location: Harlow Bros Coalville, Thornborough Road, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 3TH
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 44.5 Hours average per week worked between 07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday and 08:00 - 12:00 on alternate Saturdays
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Yard Sales Assistant to join our team in Coalville. The role’s purpose is to be part of a team of operatives that work together to maintain a safe, clean, fully functional site, offer a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional service to our customers and to undertake various different duties as the individual’s skill set develops and as directed by the Yard Supervisor.
What you’ll be doing as a Yard Sales Assistant
- To provide a prompt, polite, helpful and professional service to customers in branch and at delivery destinations, always promoting a positive company image
- Identifying, picking, processing, and issuing goods accurately and to deadlines, working from written pick notes and job sheets
- Manual rack filling with timber and sheet materials
- Housekeeping of warehouses and yard
- Flexibility across all yard tasks as required
- Forklift duties as applicable to your individual skill set and development
- Machining duties as your skill set develops
- Local Pick up deliveries as required

Your Skills
- Basic literate and numerate ability
- Ability to provide a courteous and professional approach to customers
- Ability to self-motivate, organise, and execute tasks
- Ability to work safely and cleanly
- Forklift License Desirable
