As a yard hand with Pomerleau's construction logistics team, you'll be working at the Ville St-Catherine courtyard (South Shore of Montreal) to support large-scale building and infrastructure projects - from $1.5 million to over $1 billion dollars. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors with several team members on a variety of tasks to service the construction sites.
What you will do
- Handle, move, load, and unload products, materials, tools, equipment, and machinery manually or using various handling devices
- Count, weigh, sort, inspect, pack, and unpack various products and materials
- Open boxes, fill orders, and participate in inventory taking
- Store items in an orderly manner to ensure easy access
- Clear snow from the yard, walkways, stairs, etc., during the winter season
- Maintain and repair certain tools and equipment

This role could be for you if you have
- A high school diploma (DES) and/or a vocational diploma (DEP) in a related field
- A valid driver’s license
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience as a material handler
- Good physical capabilities
- A strong sense of priorities
- Teamwork skills
- The ability to operate a forklift and an aerial work platform
