Yard/Plant FLT Operative
Location: Flintshire, Wales
Salary: Up to £13.39 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Purpose of the Role:
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for recycling, sorting, site housekeeping, conducting machinery checks, and assisting in the effective running of the site. You will operate plant machinery and be responsible for the loading and unloading of containers and curtain siders using a Forklift Truck. Depending on the plant on site, you may also operate a Loading Shovel or 360 to manage stock rotation.

Main Tasks:
- Loading and unloading containers and curtain siders using a Fork Lift Truck
- Removing non-conforming materials from the material bought to site
- Completing daily checks and ensuring machinery, plant, and equipment are in good, safe working order and completing daily plant books
- Conducting regular checks on work areas and reporting any problems
- Rotating stock around the site and cleaning the yard to maintain an efficient site
- Ensuring the company Health, Safety, and environmental policies are strictly adhered to
- Closely liaising with the Weighbridge Operator to understand daily inbound/outbound material/stock levels
- Any other reasonable task as directed by Manager
Licences, Registrations, and Qualifications:
NPORS / RTITB / ITSARR or similar licence to operate relevant mobile plant.
Hours:
Monday - Friday
Rotating shift pattern of 06:00 to 14:00 | 14:00 to 22:00
Rate of Pay:
£13.39 per hour
