Yard & Warehouse Manager
Yes Make is looking for an experienced Yard & Warehouse Manager to join our tight knit, friendly and highly driven team, taking responsibility for the development of, as well as day-to-day running, our reclaimed materials warehouse and yard at London’s largest circular economy construction hub Tipping Point East.
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems, creating systems and being at the heart of a busy and constantly evolving environment. You will take responsibility for the Warehouse Management System as well as our Material Reuse Assurance Processes covering flows of materials into and out of our site, ensuring that reclaimed materials are received, processed, catalogued, stored and prepared for their next use. This will involve understanding what materials we have, where they are stored, what condition they are in and how they can be made available to upcoming projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Are Looking For
Our team is a bunch of diverse problem solvers who work closely together but each person is also able to work independently, accepting the fluid nature of a start-up. We are looking for someone who not only can fit with that but wants to.
Communication will be important. You will work with people across the whole organisation, from apprentices and workshop staff to designers, project managers, site teams, suppliers and transport operators.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who cares about materials and what happens to them. The role is central to our ambition to keep useful materials in circulation, and we want someone who is motivated by the opportunity to help build a more practical and efficient system for material reuse.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
