Job Title: EYFS Lead

Location: Hendon Prep, London, NW4 1TD

Salary: Up to £50,000, depending on experience

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Contract: Permanent | Term Time

About The Role

Hendon Preparatory School is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire pupils, deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum, within a nurturing and ambitious school environment.

Core Purpose

  • Deliver engaging, creative and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Support pupils to achieve excellent academic progress while promoting confidence, independence and resilience.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to flourish.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life and continued success of the school.

Essential Skills And Qualities

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour-management skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young learners.
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement.
  • Warm, caring and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptable, positive and proactive approach with a good sense of humour.
