Lead the Past. Influence the Future

Job Title: Year 1 and 2 Teacher

Location: Hendon Prep, London, NW4 1TD

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on qualifications) Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent | Term Time only

Start: January 2027 (later start may be considered)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that bring learning to life.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student can succeed.
  • Support students' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

What You Will Bring

  • Graduate with teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS) required
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Is passionate about helping children achieve their best.
  • Creates engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence.
  • Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively and builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
  • Brings enthusiasm, positivity and a commitment to high standards.
