We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Year 1 Supply Teacher to join our team. Your role will be essential in shaping young minds and supporting them to achieve their best.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and creative Key Stage 1 lessons to Year 1 pupils
  • Create a stimulating learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Relevant Year 1 / KS1 teaching experience with 2 professional/proven references
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Right to work in the UK: Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum, specifically Key Stage One (KS1) and phonics frameworks
  • Being passionate about teaching and learning
