Year 2 Class Teacher
Location: Rainham, Kent
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term/Contract
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rainham, Kent is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join the team from January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach a key year group where you will play an important role in supporting pupils as they build confidence, independence, and strong foundations for future learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop creative and inspiring learning experiences.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
- Have experience or a good understanding of teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
