Tollgate Primary School are looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join our strong staff team on a temporary contract as maternity cover. We are a two-form entry school, therefore you will be working as part of the year group team.

You will:

  • be able to plan engaging lessons following our chosen curriculum and agreed lesson structure
  • build strong relationships with your class
  • plan with your teaching partner and follow the CUSP curriculum.

Tollgate is committed to working with our families and the local community to develop the children’s academic and social skills.

We offer a warm and welcoming environment with a dedicated staff team who are supportive of one another.

There is a clear vision for school development to improve outcomes for all pupils.

Tollgate was graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in October 2023 with inspectors noting that the children are happy, safe and well cared for. They also commented on our high expectations of children as we deliver the ambitious CUSP curriculum.
