Year 4 Class Teacher – Southwark
Four days a week | Monday–Thursday | ASAP start
Salary: £41,729–£54,131, M1–M6, per annum (full-time equivalent, pro rata for four days). Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
Contract: Part-time, long-term, with a view to continuing for the full academic year
Trial availability: Must be available to attend a trial

Transparency Education is recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a lovely, one-form-entry Catholic primary school in Southwark. This vibrant, inclusive school welcomes children and families of all faiths and none, with a committed team helping every child thrive academically and personally.
Working Monday to Thursday, you will take on full class teaching responsibilities within a school that offers a strong sense of community and a supportive environment to develop your practice.

Your role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain the class’s positive behaviour and create an encouraging, inclusive classroom.
- Work closely with colleagues and families to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a sound understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Experience teaching in a primary classroom, ideally within KS2.
- Strong planning, classroom management and communication skills.
- A willingness to support the school’s inclusive Catholic ethos.
- Availability to trial next week, start ASAP and commit to a long-term role.
