A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Lift Beacon as a Year 4 Class Teacher. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping every pupil develop the confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed.

About The Role

As our Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for a Year 4 class and for delivering engaging, ambitious learning that supports pupils in making strong progress. You will join a supportive and collaborative Key Stage 2 team where colleagues work closely together, share resources and are committed to providing excellent learning experiences for every child.

You will create a positive and purposeful classroom environment where pupils feel motivated, challenged and supported. Working alongside senior leaders and colleagues, you will contribute to the continued development of teaching and learning and to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning in Year 4
  • Plan engaging and ambitious lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
  • Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning
  • Assess progress effectively and adapt teaching to ensure pupils achieve well
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and the continued development of the curriculum

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Is a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of teaching and learning in Key Stage 2
  • Has experience of delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Has high expectations for every pupil and is committed to inclusive practice
  • Can adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of needs
  • Creates a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can succeed
  • Works collaboratively and builds strong relationships with colleagues, pupils and families

Your new school

Lift Beacon is a thriving primary academy in Loughborough, serving children aged 2–11. The school was recently inspected by Ofsted in April 2026 and was graded strong in four areas and continues to go from strength to strength.
