About The Role
The Yield Manager is responsible for maximising hotel revenue and profitability through strategic management of room pricing, inventory control, demand forecasting, and distribution channels. The role analyses market trends, competitor activity, booking patterns, and customer demand to optimise occupancy levels and average daily rate (ADR), ultimately driving RevPAR and total hotel revenue.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and manage room inventory to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR.
- Adjust rates, restrictions, and availability based on demand forecasts.
- Manage overbooking strategies and inventory controls.
- Evaluate promotions, packages, and special offers.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly demand forecasts.
- Analyse booking pace, pick-up trends, cancellations, and market demand.
- Optimise hotel performance across direct and third-party channels.
- Manage OTA, GDS, wholesaler, and direct booking inventory.
- Ensure rate parity and channel profitability.
- Monitor channel mix and distribution costs.

Qualifications
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Willing to adapt and change styles as and when necessary.
- Ability to introduce change effectively.
- Fantastic communicator, consider how actions, objectives, goals, and achievements are shared in a timely manner to ensure all key stakeholders are engaged.
- Computer literate & Excellent knowledge of Online Extranets and web tools.
- Detail-oriented and hands-on approach.
- Delivers presentations in a concise and well-organised manner in person or via telephone.
- Have the desire and ability to improve your knowledge and abilities through ongoing training and development.
