When Daniel Thwaites, a farmer’s son from the Lake District, founded a small Blackburn brewery in 1807, his appetite for adventure created something amazing. Our sixth-generation business still brews lovely beers, but we’ve become a family of hotels, spas, inns and pubs in extraordinary landscapes, cities and communities. From our Lancashire roots to the Lakes, Dales, Cotswolds and South Coast, every Thwaites destination is a one-off. You’ll know you have found one by the way it makes you feel.

Our Yorkshire inns are full of character, great food and surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. We’re looking for a Content Creator who can bring all of that to life.

You’ll be part of the Thwaites marketing team, but this role is field-based, rather then a desk-based content role. You’ll be on the road across our Yorkshire inns, getting under the skin of each place and creating content that shows people what makes them special.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who loves food, hospitality and the outdoors and understands what makes people want to visit, stay, eat and explore. We want our content to feel genuine and it should capture real hospitality, great food, brilliant locations and the individual character of our inns and people.

One day you might be capturing a new dish coming out of the kitchen, the next the atmosphere of a cosy winter’s night by the fire, meeting one of our local suppliers or heading out into the Yorkshire countryside to showcase what there is to see and do on our doorstep.

You’ll have the freedom to get out there, find great content and make it happen, while being part of a wider Thwaites marketing team to share ideas, plan campaigns and create work we’re proud of.

If you know hospitality, love Yorkshire and can spot a great piece of content before anyone else does, we’d love to hear from you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
