We are Two Circles, a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business. We grow audiences and revenues. We do that by knowing fans best. We work with clients to help them understand & influence what their fans are doing – the way fans spend their money, the events that fans attend, the channels fans respond to, the content fans watch and more. And we use the understanding this gives us to help our clients grow. Grow their audiences and grow their revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues.
Our platforms and services are trusted by over 900 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are over 1000 people, based out of 14 offices, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world.
Role Profile
We are looking for a YouTube Channel Manager with a passion for football, football culture and storytelling to work across content and channel output for a major football property. This role sits within Two Circles’ ever-expanding Content capability, helping to shape, plan, review and optimise content for one of the world’s most recognisable sports brands.
The chosen candidate should have a strong instinct for what works on YouTube, an understanding of football audiences and supporter culture, and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity, judgement and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Own the overall YouTube channel strategy for a premium football property across a whole season
- Shape how different content formats work together across the channel, including long-form 16x9 videos, vertical 9x16 shorts, YouTube Community posts and livestreams
- Set the direction for how content is scheduled, sequenced and deployed across the season, and how each format contributes to wider channel goals
- Brief, review and optimise long-form, original and partner content throughout the production process, providing editorial, creative and strategic feedback from concept to final delivery
- Shape content ideas, storylines and scripts, collaborating with internal and external production teams to ensure alignment with channel strategy and audience expectations
- Review and optimise video packaging - including thumbnails and titles – for editorial and commercial content, resulting in strong performance on YouTube
- Analyse retention and performance data to provide actionable insights that improve the quality, pacing and effectiveness of future channel output
- Brief bespoke thumbnails and take a hands-on role in creating templated thumbnails where needed
- Balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, ensuring content is both creatively strong and optimised for YouTube performance

Requirements:
- A strong passion for football, football culture and digital storytelling
- Deep understanding of the English domestic football landscape, its clubs, rivalries, narratives and supporter behaviours
- Proven experience working on YouTube content, ideally for sports, football clubs, rights holders, broadcasters or major brands
- Strong editorial judgement and the ability to improve stories, hooks and pacing across video content
- Great understanding of YouTube best practice, including packaging, retention, thumbnails and titles
- Confidence reviewing content under pressure and giving clear, constructive feedback
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with creative, production and stakeholder teams
- Experience using performance data to inform content decisions and improve output
- Familiarity with thumbnail creation and basic design tools would be an advantage
- Flexibility to work to live football calendars and respond quickly when the channel or content requires it
