About the Role
The Women’s and Girls Together Project is an inspiring initiative in Pembrokeshire, designed to support vulnerable females aged 11 to 21 who may be at risk of exploitation, violence, grooming, or engaging in risk-taking behaviours.
At its heart, the service is dedicated to putting children and young people first, working hand-in-hand with multi-disciplinary teams across the county, including Health and Social Services, to provide a truly holistic approach.
Support is delivered in a variety of ways—through group sessions, one-to-one guidance, and peer mentoring—creating a safe, empowering environment where young women can build resilience, find their voice, and thrive.
How you’ll create brighter futures
We are looking for a motivated Young Person's Practitioner who is committed to delivering these sessions across Pembrokeshire.
You will do this by:
- By working with vulnerable females to better their emotional well-being and self-belief.
- Supporting them to recognise negative relationships, risk taking behaviour and the consequences of this.
- Working with them to improve the five psychosocial skills.
- Creating accessible and person-centred friendly plans and assessments.
- By contributing to the development of the service through a team approach and service evaluation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
