More About Your Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Supported Housing Administrator to join our Supported Housing Team on a part-time basis. This role supports the delivery of high-quality services to customers who may have complex support needs, ensuring the smooth running of administrative, housing management and business support functions across the service.
Working closely with colleagues, customers and external agencies, you'll provide reception and call handling support, manage correspondence and records, maintain housing management systems and databases, and produce performance and monitoring reports. You'll also support key housing management activities including tenancy sign-ups, void monitoring, tenancy administration, health and safety checks, and document management.
You'll take ownership of arranging meetings, preparing agendas, recording accurate minutes, processing invoices and purchase orders, ordering equipment and supporting wider team projects. A key part of the role will be helping to deliver an excellent customer experience while promoting Places for People services within the local community.
This is a part-time position working 33 hours per week on the following rota:
- Wednesday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm
- Thursday: 4:30pm to 8:30pm
- Friday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am to 8:30pm
Due to the nature of the role, you must have access to your own vehicle and be able to travel between local services as required.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative, housing, customer service or business support role
- Experience maintaining databases, records management systems and producing reports
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

You're an organised and customer-focused administrator who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll be confident working independently while also building strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, partner agencies and external stakeholders.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable maintaining accurate records, processing documentation and supporting housing management activities. Strong administration and IT skills are essential, alongside a good understanding of financial processes.
