Job Description

Youth Employment Manager
Regional Office Worker - Site & Community based (Covering Coventry & Solihull)
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum + Package

About the role

We are looking for a confident Leader to bring focus, pace and consistency to the Youth Jobs Guarantee programme. This is a delivery leadership role, supporting a multidisciplinary team to perform well, stay on track and deliver a high-quality service for young people, employers and partners.

Working closely with the Service Manager, you will turn programme priorities into clear team actions, keep workloads moving and use performance information to spot risks early. You will coach colleagues, strengthen practice and make sure records, evidence and customer journeys are accurate, joined up and audit ready.

You will create the conditions for frontline colleagues to do their best work: clear expectations, regular feedback, purposeful case reviews, strong operational controls and a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will be doing

  • Lead, motivate and organise the delivery team, setting clear standards for performance, quality and professional conduct.
  • Coach colleagues through regular one-to-ones, team meetings, objective setting, feedback and development planning.
  • Use data and management information to monitor progress, manage risk and keep delivery aligned to programme targets.
  • Coordinate caseloads, diaries, outreach, training, employer activity and administration so the service runs smoothly.
  • Lead case and pipeline reviews, making sure actions are clear, purposeful and followed through.
  • Support forecasting and reporting, giving the Service Manager clear updates on performance, staffing, participant progress, employer pipelines and emerging issues.
  • Check the quality of records, evidence and customer journeys, taking action where standards need to improve.
  • Respond appropriately to complaints, incidents, safeguarding concerns and service problems, escalating when needed.
  • Promote joined up working across Employment Advisors, Employer Engagement Advisors, Trainers, Contact Centre Advisors and programme administration colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
