Youth Engagement Officer
Location: Home based (with travel to London office or to attend meetings, events and training as requested)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract (18 months)
Salary: £27,378 per annum (home based)

What we’re looking for
- A candidate who can build excellent relationships with internal teams, young people, frontline staff and external stakeholders to ensure that youth work and participation activities can meet the needs of young people.
- Someone who can support the effective delivery of youth work programmes through high-quality communication, coordination, organisation and stakeholder engagement.
- An advocate who is determined to ensure that young people's voices can be heard and reflected across the organisation by supporting engagement, consultation, analysis and feedback mechanisms.
- An individual who is able to contribute to the delivery of Teenage Cancer Trust's strategic objectives by ensuring both youth work and participation activities are accessible, well-coordinated and impactful.

What we offer
- Leave: 25 days of annual leave, which increases with service, in addition to bank holidays and a 3 or 4 day closure over the Christmas period. We also have finish early Fridays in August and quarterly reset days to step away from day to day work and refocus.
