Company Description

ANTIC is a Football Academy is a specialised training program designed to improve a player’s technique, speed, and endurance, through professional coaching.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Youth Football Trainer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The trainer will plan and lead age-appropriate football sessions, focusing on technical skills, fitness, and teamwork for youth participants. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Designing training drills
  • Organizing practice schedules
  • Providing individual and group feedback
  • Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment on and off the pitch

  • Communicating regularly with parents and guardians
  • Coordinating with other staff on program logistics
  • Supporting youth development through positive mentoring and guidance

The trainer is expected to:

  • Monitor player progress
  • Promote fair play
  • Uphold ANTIC’s standards of professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

  • Strong Sports Coaching skills, with proven experience in youth football training or similar team sports environments.
  • Knowledge of Physical Education principles, including injury prevention, warm-up and cool-down routines, and age-appropriate fitness development.
  • Effective Communication skills to interact with young players, parents/guardians, and colleagues in a clear and supportive manner.
  • Teaching skills, with the ability to break down techniques, give constructive feedback, and manage groups of diverse learners.

Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., FA coaching badges or equivalent) and safeguarding/child protection training are highly beneficial.

  • Experience working with children or adolescents in sports or education settings, and a strong understanding of youth development, is desirable.
  • Ability to work on-site in the London Area, maintain a professional attitude, and adapt training sessions to different skill levels and backgrounds.
