Youth Services Library Assistant

The City of Gloucester is seeking a full-time Youth Services Library Assistant at the Sawyer Free Library. The Youth Services Library Assistant is a paraprofessional library position responsible for providing public service to youth ages 0 to 19 and their caregivers. Primary areas of public service are direct customer service, programs, outreach, and collection maintenance and development. Work is of moderate complexity, involving the independent performance of moderately difficult tasks within established standards and prescribed procedures. Difficult and unusual matters are referred to the supervisor.

This is a full-time, in-person, 35-hour per week union eligible position with excellent benefits. Pay Range: $23.96 - $34.69 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
