Job Title: Youth Services Manager

Salary: £34,000 to £36,000
Hours: 37.5 hour per week
Location: Maccabi House, HA8 7FR

Kisharon Langdon has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Services Manager to join their growing team in North West London.

Kisharon Langdon are a charity offering a wider breadth of services of enhanced quality, enabling us to better support people with learning disabilities and autism and their families. From nursery and school to further education, through to employment opportunities and supported living, Kisharon Langdon will enable people with learning disabilities and autism to thrive and realise their ambitions and aspirations.

The Role

Kisharon Langdon’s Brady Club provides Jewish young people aged 5 to 25, with learning disabilities and autism, the opportunity to meet new people, make friends, take part in fun activities and learn social and life skills in a safe, stimulating and engaging environment.

The Youth Services Manager will empower and optimise the potential of young people through a strength-based activity programme that encourages personal and social development.

The core work of the Youth Services Manager role is to ensure young people co-produce and participate in experiences and Jewish cultural activities. Responsible for leading Kisharon Langdon Brady Youth provision the Youth Services Manager will lead the future ambitions and operation of weekly sessions and holiday schemes for young adults with learning disabilities and autism.

About You

The successful applicant must be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience in a related sector. Ideally, you would have a Teacher and/or Youth & Community Worker qualification, such as NYA Level 3 in Youth Work Practice.

Applicants must have a successful track record in a Youth Service/Education role and be able to demonstrate experience developing activity programmes, managing budgets and leading staff. Ideally, you would also have relevant experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

You should be an organised and open minded individual with an ability to multi-task, as well as managing your time and resources. Flexibility and the ability to work evenings and weekends is essential for this role.
