This is a sessional worker / part-time, on-site Youth Worker role based in the North Kent and SE London area, United Kingdom.

The Youth Outreach Worker will support young people through individual and group sessions, helping them identify risks, build trust, and develop confidence and motivation.
Responsibilities include engaging young people, facilitating discussions, and encouraging positive thinking and behavior.
The Youth Outreach Worker will provide mentoring on our mobile intervention service, help participants develop employability skills, and collaborate with the Youth Unity CIC team to ensure consistent support and engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience and competence in Youth Work and Youth Services, including group facilitation and one-to-one support.
- Background in Social Work or work with vulnerable communities, with an understanding of safeguarding and risk awareness.
- Demonstrated Youth Mentoring skills, including relationship-building, guidance, and positive role modeling.
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse young people and partner organizations.
- Ability to use creative arts, media, or digital tools (e.g., music, film, podcasting) to encourage participation and self-expression.
- Organisational skills to plan sessions, track progress, and work collaboratively within a community-focused team.
- Relevant training or qualification in youth work, social care, education, or a related field is desirable.
