Youth Worker – Youth Voice and Participation
Salary: Youth Worker - JNC 13 – 16 (£31,885 - £34,708 per annum) / Youth Worker in Training - JNC 11 – 14 (£29,644 - £33,066 per annum)
Location: Ruthin
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Permanent
Closing date: 21/10/2026
This exciting new post has been created in order to support the youth service and the delivery of youth voice and participation projects.
The core focus of this role is to work directly with young people to establish opportunities and meaningful participation in youth forums, ensure that the voices of young people from Denbighshire are heard and that their views are shaping policy and practice in the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and motivated to join the youth work team to support, organise and deliver responsive and adaptable provision to young people through innovative youth work programmes.
Appointment subject to Disclosure & Barring Service Check, Education Workforce Council registration and satisfactory references.
