Are you passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus and grow as lifelong disciples? Do you love leading worship that helps people connect deeply with God? St Peter’s Maidenhead is looking for a Youth & Worship Minister to help shape the next generation of disciples while growing a vibrant culture of worship across our church family.
As a church, we are committed to LOVE JESUS, SHARE LIVES, and TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES. We are seeking someone who can combine a heart for young people with a passion for worship, helping our congregation grow in faith, authenticity, and joyful devotion to Jesus. You'll be joining a friendly, motivated, and supportive team united by a vision to see lives transformed by the love of Christ.
What We're Looking For

- Brave: You'll inspire young people and the wider church to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, creating opportunities for people to encounter God and live out their faith with courage and conviction.
- Kind: You'll be a relational leader who invests deeply in people, nurturing young people, volunteers, musicians, and worshippers with compassion, encouragement, and care.
Your Role
- Lead and Inspire: Shape and grow our youth and worship ministries, bringing vision, creativity, and energy to both areas of church life.
- Disciple the Next Generation: Build meaningful relationships with young people, helping them grow in faith, discover their gifts, and become confident followers of Jesus.
- Develop Teams: Recruit, train, encourage, and pastor volunteers, musicians, singers, and worship leaders, building healthy and thriving teams.
- Lead Worship: Plan and lead contemporary worship that is Spirit-led, Christ-centred, and accessible, helping people of all ages encounter God through music, prayer, and Scripture.
- Reach the Community: Strengthen connections with local schools and engage with young people beyond the church, creating opportunities for outreach and mission.
- Model Faith: Demonstrate a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus, serving as a role model of worship, discipleship, integrity, and joyful faith.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
