Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a cross-discipline strategic creative to manage the club’s official YouTube channel and develop our content proposition. You’ll be responsible for channel planning, optimisation, and working with a team of internal content creators to take the channel to the next level—delivering compelling, fan-focused video content that drives engagement, grows our subscriber base, and deepens global fan connection through one of the club’s most powerful platforms.
You will be responsible for:

- Lead the planning, production, and publishing of high-quality video content alongside a wider content team
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop original formats, series, and storytelling concepts tailored for YouTube audiences
- Work closely with social, editorial, and wider media teams to align video output with campaigns and key club moments
- Influence and educate creative teams on YouTube-specific content methodologies
- Contribute to shoots, interviews, and live content—including matchday, behind-the-scenes, and player-focused features
- Ensure all content meets brand and platform standards
- Stay ahead of YouTube trends, fan behaviour, and sports content innovations to keep output fresh and competitive
- Build strong relationships with YouTube to explore opportunities that grow audience reach and commercial objectives

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
