Repair My Denim is a specialist denim repair studio based in Cambridge, serving customers across the UK by post and in person. The team focuses on giving favorite jeans a second life through careful repairs using color-matched thread and reinforced patches for discreet, durable results. Customers follow a straightforward process: choose a repair, send or drop off their jeans, and receive them back within seven days via tracked Royal Mail delivery.
The studio works on a wide range of brands, from Levi’s and Wrangler to selvedge and Japanese denim, and is trusted by cyclists, denim enthusiasts, and designer jean owners nationwide. Repair My Denim is committed to reducing waste and challenging fast fashion by helping people keep their most-loved jeans in use for longer.
Role Description
The YouTube Content Creator internship is a 3-month, hybrid role based at the Repair My Denim studio in Cambridge, with the possibility of moving into a paid role at the end.

The intern will plan, script, film, and edit engaging YouTube videos that showcase the denim repair process, studio culture, and sustainability message. Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming content ideas, setting up camera and lighting, capturing repair tutorials and behind-the-scenes footage, and editing videos for upload. You'll work closely with our head tailor to film and direct on-camera segments, without needing to appear on camera yourself.
The role also involves optimising titles, thumbnails, and descriptions, responding to comments, and helping grow the channel audience in line with the brand's voice.
This internship provides hands-on experience in video production and content creation within a creative, sustainability-focused environment.

What You'll Need
- Basic experience with filming and video editing (personal projects, coursework, or social media content all count)
- Strong interest in fashion, denim, sustainability, or ethical consumption
- Good communication skills and willingness to be on camera or direct simple shoots
- Ability to work on-site in Cambridge and manage your time to meet a publishing schedule
Nice to Have / What You'll Learn
- Familiarity with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- YouTube SEO — titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnail design
- Scripting and structuring tutorial-style content
- A personal portfolio or reel, even informal (phone footage, TikToks, coursework)
