Bom Shanka Music YouTube Content Intern
As Bom Shanka Music evolves into its next era of uncompromising underground and cross-genre electronic music, we are aggressively expanding our digital architecture. We are currently seeking a driven YouTube Content Intern to help us run our channel, consistently create compelling visual content, and actively grow our audience.
This position is for a digital native who is already used to working with YouTube. You must understand how the platform works, how to optimize content for discovery, and how to build and engage an audience in the modern digital landscape.
The Role & The Reality
This is a 3-month, non-paid internship (with the opportunity to extend to 6 months) focused on audience growth, platform strategy, and portfolio building. You will be taking a hands-on role in shaping the visual and strategic output of a globally recognized independent record label.

Who We Are Looking For
You are an active content creator who is deeply familiar with the YouTube ecosystem, its algorithm, and audience retention strategies. You understand how the electronic music and underground club scene operates and can translate that culture into engaging video content. You are proactive, analytical, and ready to take ownership of channel growth.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Platform Expertise: Proven experience operating within the YouTube ecosystem, with a solid understanding of its algorithm, analytics (YouTube Studio), and audience retention strategies.
- Video Editing: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or advanced CapCut workflows).
- Optimization Skills: Knowledge of YouTube SEO, including strategic tagging, compelling copywriting for descriptions, and high-CTR (Click-Through Rate) thumbnail strategy.
- Cultural Fluency: A deep, active understanding of the global electronic music and underground club scene. You intuitively understand the culture, the aesthetic, and what the audience responds to.
- Communication: Strong written English for crafting precise, engaging titles, descriptions, and community posts.
- Design (Bonus): Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva) to assist with thumbnail creation are highly preferred.
