The Big Phone Store is one of the UK's established refurbished mobile phone retailers. We're building a YouTube channel that helps consumers buy better phones, understand refurbished technology and make smarter buying decisions.
We're looking for someone who can produce a high volume of high-quality YouTube content using modern AI tools and efficient production systems.
This is not a traditional video editing role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building repeatable workflows, automating repetitive tasks and producing content consistently without sacrificing quality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Researching phone buying topics and customer questions
- Writing engaging YouTube scripts
- Creating long-form YouTube videos
- Producing multiple YouTube Shorts from every long-form video
- Designing thumbnails
- Writing titles and descriptions
- Finding or filming supporting footage
- Using AI tools to improve speed and efficiency
- Uploading and organising videos
- Following our content calendar
- Reusing existing content to create new videos
- Helping improve production systems over time

Skills Needed
Experience with:
- YouTube content creation
- Video editing
- Script writing
- Thumbnail design
- YouTube SEO
- Storytelling
- Short-form content
- AI content creation tools
- ChatGPT or similar AI assistants
- CapCut/Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Canva or Photoshop
- Excellent written English and good spoken English.
AI & Automation
A large part of this role is using AI to increase output. We expect you to already use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, CapCut AI, Descript, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Runway, Midjourney or similar image tools, and other automation tools that improve production speed.

Output Expectations
A single long-form video should typically generate one YouTube video, three or more Shorts, social clips, thumbnail variations and multiple title options.
Topics include best phones to buy, refurbished phone buying guides, iPhone comparisons, Samsung comparisons, budget phone recommendations, phone tips and tricks, trade-in advice, battery health, buying mistakes, customer FAQs, behind the scenes of refurbishment and product explainers.
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a practical video creation task based on a real content brief.
