An exciting opportunity for an established ZAR Broker
We are looking for an experienced Broker with an established client portfolio and strong knowledge of ZAR financial markets to join an international financial markets team in London.
This is a pure brokerage role for a professional who already has strong relationships within the market and can bring an established network of clients and counterparties.
The successful candidate will join a small, experienced team and work closely with the Head of the ZAR Desk, contributing directly to the continued development of the business.
The Role
- Manage and develop existing client relationships within the ZAR market
- Maintain and grow an established client portfolio
- Support daily order flow, pricing and execution
- Identify new business opportunities within the ZAR market
- Develop and maintain long-standing relationships with interbank traders and market participants
- Work closely with colleagues internationally to provide high-quality service to clients
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the ZAR desk

Products
The focus will be on ZAR financial products, including:
- ZAR Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
- ZAR derivatives
- ZAR FRAs
- ZAR Forwards
This role does not cover commodities or equity derivatives.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in financial markets
- Proven experience as an Interdealer Broker / Broker
- An established and active client portfolio
- Strong knowledge of ZAR markets
- Existing relationships with relevant market participants and interbank traders
- A proven track record of generating and managing brokerage revenue
- Excellent understanding of the ZAR product environment
- Fluency in English
- Additional European languages would be an advantage
- A dynamic, ambitious and entrepreneurial approach
- The ability to operate effectively in a highly international environment
