Lead one of Zara's most exciting newly refurbished stores.

We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our newly refurbished Reading store. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a flagship-calibre environment, equipped with the latest store concepts, enhanced customer experiences, and updated technology that reflects the future of retail.

What You'll Be Doing

As General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the performance of the store, leading a large team across customer experience, commercial delivery, operations, people development and profitability.

You'll:

  • Drive sales, productivity and commercial performance through strong leadership and clear priorities.
  • Create an engaging customer experience that reflects Zara's brand identity and fashion authority.
  • Deliver outstanding visual standards and ensure the store always looks its best.
  • Lead from the shop floor, coaching, motivating and supporting teams to succeed.
  • Build a culture of accountability, inclusion and development.
  • Manage stock flow, replenishment, shrinkage and operational standards with precision.
  • Use data, product knowledge and customer insight to make fast and effective decisions.
  • Develop future leaders and create clear succession plans across the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience leading a large, high-volume retail operation.
  • A proven ability to drive sales and performance.
  • Experience managing, developing and inspiring large teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviour.
  • Excellent operational and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • A passion for fashion and awareness of trends, competitors and the ever-changing retail landscape.
