Overview
Seeking a wonderful and experienced live-in executive housekeeper for a beautiful home in St Andrews, Scotland. Standard hours will likely be around 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, but please expect longer hours and some weekend work when the principals are in residence and/or entertaining. There will also be times when the principals are away but have guests staying.
Responsibilities
- Making sure the home is kept tidy and spotless at all times
- Regular deep cleaning
- Stock rotation for groceries
- Laundry and ironing
- Keeping records of repairs and overseeing contractors and vendors when necessary
- Watering and caring for plants
- Experience with cooking and serving would be a bonus
- Light service when principals and guests are staying, to include preparing and serving drinks, light meals, arranging glassware, setting tables, supporting external caterers for any entertaining, etc

Requirements
- A keen eye for detail and very high standards
- Able to work autonomously and without much oversight, while also comfortable receiving guidance and feedback
- Professional, respectful and welcoming demeanour, with a positive approach and a can-do attitude!
- Prior experience caring for antiques, silverware, fine furnishings, and bespoke finishes
- Excellent references and longevity in previous roles

Salary and Benefits
- Accommodation is a self-contained flat with separate entrance
- £40,000+ gross pa, DOE
