Overview

A wonderful Chelsea-based family seeks a brilliant live-out ROTA nanny. The rotational set-up will be 2 weeks on/off, with a daily schedule of 8.30am-8pm. While the position is mainly live-out, the parents do travel regularly for work, at which point the position will become 24/hr live-in. There will likely also be some international travel required of the nanny.

The successful candidate will join a staffed household and contribute to the outstanding care and development of a 5yr old boy and, occasionally, his younger sister. Candidates should have experience caring for children with additional needs, who may need support with transitions and self-regulation, and who appreciate consistency and structure.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively as part of a household to support the children, ensuring their continued well-being and development.
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks when required.
  • Support transitions and self-regulation using positive reinforcement and gentle, consistent boundaries.
  • Research local activities, classes, outings, and sports for the children, developing their interests, building on their curiosity, and encouraging their imagination and creativity.
  • School runs (no driving required).
  • Use appropriate and calming language that helps with big emotions.
  • Provide structure and consistency around familiar routines, and be creative in how travel and periods away from usual daily routines are handled.
  • Encourage age-appropriate independence, responsibility, and positive habits.
  • Accompany the family on some international trips.
  • Potentially assist with some family assistant-style duties (e.g., occasional errands, children's logistics, liasing with schools, etc).
  • Working with the team to build on successes and to learn from behaviours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
