Golders Hill Park Zoo is looking for three enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our team and help support the Zoo.
We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about wildlife and conservation and who enjoy helping visitors have a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience.
We are currently looking for volunteers for Tuesday’s, Wednesdays and Friday’s (please state on your application which day(s) you are applying for.
Our volunteer shifts run from 7.30 am – 3.00pm with two scheduled breaks.

What could you be doing?
Volunteer Roles May Include
- Supporting the zoo team with day-to-day activities
- Sharing information about the animals and their habitats
- Helping to keep public areas welcoming and enjoyable
- Taking part in special events and seasonal activities
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly and approachable
- Reliable and responsible
- Interested in animals, wildlife and conservation
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Able to commit to agreed volunteer shifts
- Happy to work outside in all weather conditions
- Physically fit who enjoy active and practical work
