🚀 z/OS Network & Transmission Systems Programmer
HSBC | Sheffield or Wakefield | Hybrid Working
Ready to work on the technology that powers one of the world's largest banking organisations? HSBC is looking for an experienced z/OS Network & Transmission Systems Programmer to join a specialist Mainframe team responsible for maintaining secure, resilient, and high-performing network services across a critical enterprise environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting and enhancing HSBC's Mainframe networking infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity, reliable file transmissions, and the stability of critical business services.

Key Skills We're Looking For
- Strong z/OS Systems Programming or Mainframe Infrastructure experience
- TCP/IP and VTAM administration
- Connect:Direct (NDM) and secure file transfer technologies
- SNA and Enterprise Extender experience
- AT-TLS, SSL/TLS, Digital Certificates and IPSec
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting complex production environments

- Cisco networking exposure
- Banking or Financial Services experience
