I'm partnering with a globally recognised financial services organisation, renowned for operating one of the largest and most complex technology estates in the world. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced z/OS Systems Programmer to join a high-performing mainframe engineering team supporting critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Upgrade, maintain and support the z/OS operating system.
- Manage and support IBM and CA/Broadcom products.
- Provide production support across the mainframe environment.
- Support software deployments, testing and platform improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours implementations.

Required Experience
- Extensive Mainframe Systems Programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF and JCL.
- Experience with IBM and CA/Broadcom products.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Desirable
- Assembler, REXX, CLIST, GDPS and Automation.
- Top Secret administration.
- Omegamon, RMF, SMF and SAS performance monitoring experience.
