Pre-Sales Solution Specialist – Cyber Security (Zscaler)

A fast-growing cyber security practice is expanding its zero-trust offering, and this role will be central to turning technical expertise into winning security solutions. You’ll be the trusted technical voice throughout the sales journey, combining deep Zscaler knowledge with hands-on solution design and customer engagement.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Central London/Hybrid (2 days per week)
  • Package: £100,000- £110,000pa & benefits
  • Industry: Cyber Security / Managed IT Services

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with sales teams from initial discovery through qualification, solution design, proposal and close.
  • Act as the go-to technical specialist for Zscaler, helping customers understand how zero-trust solutions can solve their security challenges.
  • Lead engaging technical demonstrations, pilots and proof-of-value exercises, getting hands-on where it helps secure the deal.
  • Develop high-level designs, statements of work and technical proposal content that are commercially sound and realistic to deliver.
  • Present solutions confidently to a broad range of stakeholders, from technical teams through to senior leadership and C-suite.
  • Shape Zscaler architectures across ZIA, ZPA and ZDX, including sizing, policies and integration considerations.
  • Design approaches that connect Zscaler with identity platforms such as Entra ID, as well as existing network and security estates.
  • Maintain strong technical collateral, reference architectures and demonstration environments.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful sales are handed over with clear designs, assumptions and policy baselines.
  • Build strong relationships with the technology partner through joint planning, co-selling and regular product engagement.
  • Help strengthen the wider zero-trust proposition by bringing market and partner insight back into the business.
  • Where your experience allows, contribute to broader cyber security opportunities covering areas such as SOC, EDR, vulnerability management and compliance.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to make proposal development and technical collateral more efficient.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
