We’re currently offering the opportunity for an apprentice to gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career in Plant Management.

Requirements

  • GCSE in: English (grade A-C or 4-9)
  • GCSE in: Maths (grade A-C or 4-9)
  • Ability to work from the Skipton office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
  • Occasional travel to other office locations, but all expenses for this would be covered.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Site Managers and hire companies to move plant, vehicles and machinery to and from site
  • Form part of the plant hire service desk, being reactive to the needs and requirements of our live sites across the UK
  • Learn key negotiation skills and then implement them, engaging with various stakeholders to help us drive value
  • Write letters or emails
  • Create proposals
  • Perform financial processes
  • Record and analyse data
  • Update and review databases
  • Record information and produce data analysis where required
  • Produce accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals
  • Make recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management
  • Draft correspondence
  • Write reports
  • Review others' work
  • Maintain records and files
  • Handle confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures
  • Coach others in the processes required to complete these tasks
  • Make effective decisions based on sound reasoning
  • Deal with challenges in a mature way

  • Build and maintain positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation

  • Undertake and lead projects as and when required
