Civil Engineer Bridge Inspector Apprentice

We're looking for a Bridge Inspector Apprentice to join our Transportation Team, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Civil Engineer Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Requirements

• GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English OR Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
• Punctual, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Ability to handle physical work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Responsibilities

• Learning how to act safely on site and being responsible for yourself and the other inspector
• Supporting in identifying defects and determine causes in a highway structure
• Learn technical report writing skills
• Be responsible for contractual inspection KPI as a team
• Manage the asset database and learn how to keep it up to date for accuracy
