We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team have grown rapidly over the last 14 years’, and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders, through to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail for reviewing client documentation, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information to support the quoting process
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts to ensure we meet expectations and compliance standards
- Willingness to learn, as every day will be different
- Ability to process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support and improve client service, internal process execution, and facilitate informed analysis
Responsibilities
- Reviewing client documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and external contacts
- Assisting Commercial Account Executives in achieving high levels of renewal retention
- Exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements
- Processing data promptly and accurately on relevant systems
