Application Process

  • Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training.
  • You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
  • Training provider: JUNIPER TRAINING LIMITED
  • Training course: Early years educator (level 3)
  • Training schedule:
    • On-the-Job Training: You will work in an early year's setting, applying what you are learning in a practical environment.
    • Off-the-Job Study: You will undertake formal study through a college or training provider to gain the required knowledge.
    • End-Point Assessment (EPA): At the end of the apprenticeship, you will undergo an assessment to demonstrate your competence. This typically includes:
      • Professional Discussion: A discussion with an assessor, supported by a portfolio of evidence from your work
      • Knowledge Test: An assessment to test your theoretical knowledge
      • Practical Observation: An observation of your work with children
  • More training information:
    • Attend monthly virtual masterclasses with other students doing the same apprenticeship and the skills coach
    • Off the job training
    • Assignments set that have to be recorded
