We’re looking for a hands-on operator with a background in premium pubs or high-quality dining — someone who understands what great looks like and knows how to deliver it consistently.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the day-to-day operation of a bustling, reputation-led pub.
• Inspiring, developing, and empowering a high-performing team.
• Delivering a warm, authentic guest experience that keeps people returning.
• Driving sales and profitability through smart planning and exceptional standards.
• Maintaining impeccable food, drink, and service quality at all times.
• Ensuring compliance across health & safety, food safety, and legislative requirements.
• Building strong community relationships and acting as the face of the pub.
• Working closely with the kitchen to deliver a consistent, premium offer.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium pub, gastropub, or quality dining environment.
• A natural host with genuine warmth, presence, and leadership charisma.
• Someone who thrives in busy, high-volume settings while keeping standards sky-high.
• A confident people manager who develops teams and builds great culture.
• Commercially sharp, guest-obsessed, and operationally switched-on.
• Passionate about great food, quality drinks, and creating memorable experiences.
• Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and always two steps ahead.
